At Glimcher Group, the acquisition of retail opportunities has been the most important and integral part of the growth of Glimcher Group.

Our first major acquisition in 1989 added almost 2 million square feet to our retail portfolio. Our primary focus is on community and grocery-anchored shopping centers.

Development

Throughout our history, our developments have been at least 70% pre-leased prior to starting construction. Through conservative practices in an aggressive business segment, Glimcher Group has been able to create strong and profitable developments.
