Pittsburgh, PA – The Glimcher Group has successfully closed on the purchase of Garfield Mall. Located in Cleveland, Ohio’s Southeastern neighborhood of Garfield Heights, Garfield Mall (to be renamed Garfield Commons) is a 250,000 ft² community shopping center anchored by Marc’s, Big Lots and Save-A-Lot.

The Glimcher Group plans on reinventing the shopping center by adding new anchor tenants and updating the center’s appearance. Immediate plans for renovation include: building new pylon signs at the shopping center’s two main entrances, facade improvements, and extensive parking lot repairs.
